Computer help that starts with an honest diagnosis

I repair computers and laptops in Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area, remotely or with a home visit. First you hear what's broken and what the fix will cost, then you decide.

A computer usually gives up at the worst possible moment: before a work deadline, halfway through a thesis, right when an important document needs to go out. You don't need to know what broke or use any technical terms. Describe what's happening in your own words and I'll take it from there.

Before I fix anything, you get a diagnosis and a specific price. If a repair isn't worth the money, I'll say so plainly and suggest what to do instead. I don't swap parts “just in case” and I don't fix things that aren't broken. Once the work is done, I explain in everyday language what caused the problem and what was done about it.

I run the service personally: the same person answers the phone, diagnoses the fault and does the repair. Building software for companies is my day job, so your computer ends up in the hands of an engineer, not an anonymous repair counter. I help remotely or come to you, serving homes and small businesses in Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area.

What the service covers

01

Diagnostics and repair

I find the cause of the problem and deal with it, from a computer that won't switch on to a system that freezes without warning. I repair Windows without losing your files, and when a fresh start is the better option, I reinstall the system complete with drivers and updates.

  • Computer won't start or keeps freezing
  • Windows repair or clean installation
  • Replacement of failed components
  • Assessment of data-recovery chances from a damaged drive
02

Virus and malware removal

I clean the computer of viruses, pop-up ads and programs that installed themselves. I check that nothing threatens your passwords or online banking, and secure the system so the problem doesn't come back.

03

Speed-ups and upgrades

A few-year-old computer often needs an upgrade, not a replacement. Swapping the old drive for an SSD and adding memory can make it feel quick again, at a fraction of the price of a new machine. A proper dust clean-out and system optimization round it off.

  • SSD upgrade with your system and files moved over
  • Memory (RAM) upgrades
  • Dust cleaning and thermal paste replacement
  • Optimization of a slow system
04

New computer and moving your data

I set up a new computer end to end: system, updates, the programs you need, your printer and your email. I move photos, documents and mail across from the old machine, and I'll advise on what to buy beforehand — including building a gaming PC to fit your budget.

05

Home internet, Wi-Fi and printers

I set up routers and home networks so the internet works in every room and the printer prints from every device. I also help when “the internet is on but nothing works”, tracking down where the problem really is and putting it right.

Typical situations

  • 01

The computer takes minutes to start and every click tests your patience. You're wondering if it's time for a new one.

  • 02

Strange ads or messages keep appearing on the screen and you're not sure it's still safe to log in to your bank.

  • 03

You're buying a new laptop and want everything from the old one on it: photos, documents, email and the programs you're used to.

  • 04

The Wi-Fi doesn't reach the bedroom, the printer “can't see” the computer, and everyone in the house has a different theory why.

What you can count on

  • Diagnosis and price before the repair, so you decide knowing the cost, not after the fact.

  • An honest recommendation: if a repair isn't worth it, you'll hear it from me straight, along with advice on what to choose instead.

  • A plain-language explanation of what caused the problem and what was done, with no technical jargon.

  • Help where it suits you: remotely, at your home or at your business, in Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area.

Questions about this service

Every repair starts with a diagnosis, after which you get a specific price. Only then do you decide whether to go ahead. There are no surprises at the end, and if the repair turns out not to be worth it, I'll simply tell you.

Many problems can be solved remotely: I connect to your computer over the internet and you see everything I do on your screen. When hands-on work is needed, I come to your home or business in Bydgoszcz and the surrounding area at an agreed time.

Very often, yes. A computer that won't start usually doesn't mean the data is gone. I begin with a safe assessment of the drive and give you an honest view of the chances. Simpler cases I handle myself; for serious physical damage I'll point you to a specialist lab rather than risk making things worse.

Often, yes. An SSD, extra memory and a proper clean-out can give a machine a second life for a fraction of the price of a new one. But not always: when the cost stops making sense, I'll tell you straight out and suggest what kind of computer fits your needs.
